This partnership allows us to deliver comprehensive training that goes beyond firearms and situational awareness. Participants gain critical lifesaving skills backed by nationally recognized certification programs. Together, we prepare individuals and teams to respond confidently in real-world emergencies.

built on proven experience

K1 Risk was founded by Yonty Urrutia, bringing over 30 years of experience across military service, law enforcement, emergency medical response, and professional training. His career has been built in high-responsibility environments where preparation, discipline, and decision-making matter.

Yonty served in the U.S. Army with the 162nd Air Defense unit, earning Soldier of the Year honors and the Army Commendation Medal. He later spent 20 years as a paramedic, including flight paramedic and Field Training Officer roles.

He is also a licensed private investigator with over two decades of experience, a Death Investigator, and a former Oregon Deputy Sheriff.

We offer on-site RV hookups with 30-amp power, as well as designated tent camping areas for those who prefer a more flexible stay. Whether you’re traveling in with your own setup or planning to camp, our space allows you to stay close to the training environment, maximize your time on-site, and focus fully on developing your skills without the hassle of off-site accommodations.
